Neymar finally makes decision over future as Chelsea approach PSG

Neymar is now open to leaving Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the campaign while Chelsea have already held discussions over a possible summer move, according to reports.

The 31-year-old attacker is about to end his sixth season with the Ligue 1 giants having joined in a €222 million (£200m) deal from Barcelona in 2017.

PSG attempted to sell Neymar last summer but were unable to find a potential buyer for the Brazil international, who also wanted to stay at the club.

But, ESPN claims that Neymar has changed his stance ahead of the summer transfer window and is now keen on a move away from PSG.

The report claims that the former Barcelona forward no longer feels welcome at the club after the club's fans gathered outside his home last week and told him to leave.

It’s believed that Neymar’s preference would be to join a club in the Premier League and would not play for another side in La Liga due to his time at Barcelona.

PSG are willing to allow Neymar leave and would even consider a loan deal which included an option to sign permanently.

Chelsea, meanwhile, have already held talks earlier this year with PSG about a deal for Neymar this summer.

According to ESPN, Chelsea’s co-owner, Todd Boehly, is a ‘big fan’ of Neymar and is personally driving the West London club’s attempt to sign him.
