France and Spain will face off for the gold medal in the Paris 2024 Olympics final at Parc des Princes on Friday. 

 After a superb quarter-final win against Argentina, France was just one game away from the final, aiming to secure their first football gold since 1984. 

 A key brace from Jean-Philippe Mateta was needed for a comeback and win over 10-man Egypt in Lyon, as France avoided elimination and the need to compete for bronze.
